My Love is like a Red Red Rose !!!

We have met our initial targets for the repetition of the mantra and

the Ganesh Atharvashirsham. Good job everyone !

 

However, the big day is tomorrow - Ganesh's birthday aka Ganesh

Chaturthi. According to Parvati (the disciple not the Goddess) , most

of Chaturthi is tomorrow and ends early Saturday morning. Hope she

will post later today to confirm the times, but atleast for the Bay

area the Chathurthi starts tomorrow, and I expect it to be off only

by a few hours for those in the western hemisphere.

 

Ganesh is associated with RED color - a deep dark red. He also loves

sweets , especially modaks - remember the recipe posted by Parvati

earlier.

 

So lets all continue this great bhava and keep our chanting alive all

day tomorrow. Hope many of us will be able to do a puja to Ganesh and

offer him RED flowers, RED cloth etc.
