Guest guest
Question from Linda and Latha: Can you please give us the break out of the meaning of the syllables in 'Gam'? Swamiji's response : There is a sanskrit shloka that explains the syllables The letter ga is the form of wisdom The letter a is that which is in the middle of creation The anusvaara (m) is the form of perfection The attainment of perfection for Ganesha has been given. Question from Chris: I have seen various references to the curse of Ganesha that if one sees Chandra during Ganesha Chaturthi one will be falsely accused and his/her reputation impugned. Is this just superstition, or is there something to it? If there is, what night, in particular? Swamiji's response : This Friday! Question from Latha: Last week , we focussed on Devyatharvasirsham and this week on Ganesh Atharvasirsham. I noticed that both focus on understanding the relevant mantra ( the Navarna in Devi A and Gam in the Ganesh A). Is this what an Atharvashirsham is for ? To understand the mantra ? Swamiji's response : The highest meaning.
