rudraksha beads - new question

now i have another question. as i have perused some some sites for the

rudraksha beads i see there are different "faces" and i need to know

if there is a specific type of beads i should be looking for (# of

faces, etc.)?

If you want to do japa all that you need if a string of 108+1 center

bead with little concern for the # of faces. If you are seeking a

tailmen the # of faces would likely bear great significance. I picked

up a whole mala of large 5 faced Rudraksha beads at Vedanta society.

It is so heavy that I never do japa with it. I usually just use my

little string with no discernable faces, but more often I japa on my

fingers.
