During the nine nights we usually cut five lime scoop out the inside then fill it up with Ghee put in a wick and light it and use that as a deepa to do aartie. In the evening He (priest) will gave lectures and Bhajans. This will be done in a grand way for the first four days. Unfortunately, we wont be able to do it that way all nine nights since the priest have other committmentsHowever, in my own little way I will continue to do the Aartie with the lime. Dear Lall and Dolly, Just reading your description of your puja gave me goosebumps, so I thank you for so eloquently sharing what you will be doing. I live where there are no others interested in these things as I am, no satsangs, so temples, no priests. So I have to take nourishment from you and others who tell of your own actions. And relating this to Ram's post on the 4 points to living, it seems to me that this puja is an art form in itself. Jai Maa ~ Linda
