Guest guest Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 Dear All, We are just two weeks into closing in on the Chandi Sankalpa taken during Spring Navaratri this year. Has it been 6 months already ? And how appropriate... to start and end the sankalpa on Navaratri. So 16th October will be our last online class on the Chandi ... atleast for the present ... until we decide to do another round. In the meantime Swamiji has suggested that we start on the Guru Gita after we complete the Chandi. He has also said that the participants take turns in leading the class. Leading the class means ... .... doing some prep work on the class .... communicating with Swamiji (yesss) to get your questions resolved .... sharing the same with the rest of the online class. It can be very rewarding ... Ask Jayadeva who read a chapter sincerely for a week and was rewarded with a revelation... Ask Steve who has been in on the Chandi for less than a year and already knows more than many people... Or Ask Me ... who started this all in fun during March ... and I am already a veteran of organizing one round of online classes. Ask anyone ... But definitely there is work that needs to be put in first to reap the rewards... can we count on you to lead some of the discussions ? I will put up a new timetable soon on the verse numbers and request people to volunteer. If you can sign up for a time slot every month or 6 weeks ... it will be awesome.
