Dear Steve, I'm not sure you could write too many words ... you always seem to say what is on your mind very succinctly, yet with real clarity, and because you are also a poet, there is always poetry in everything you write, which makes it a delight to read. As you said in your post ~ this is a good way to be drawn into sadhana ... through delight, through play. Last night I was reading something by Swami Jyotir about the Divine Mother, and I have heard Amma say this over and over ~ to approach Mother as an innocent child ~ to hold Her hand, to talk with Her, to Play, to cry ~ the Mother is the Portal. Jai Maa ~ Linda P.S. A very very very very long time ago, I was walking home from the grocery store, and this song came to me out of the blue, so to speak. I will only share the first verse, but it does sound like a prayer to Maa Durga, whom I didn't have a clue about at the time, nor for many years to follow. The Lady sat on the Crescent Moon. There were Stars in Her Hair. She was weaving a mantle of Moonbeams for the Child that She would bear. Oh Beautiful Lady, Eternal Mother of Mankind, the demons are in control again. Who will help us remove the chains?
Guest guest
jai maa linda! a beautiful poem. we reach for her and the chains fall away. this can seem easy, or very difficult; almost instantly, or with no end in sight ... peace and well-being to you ... all that is unresolved will resolve. steve , nierika@a... wrote: > > Steve wrote: > > love, love, love, i hope i said this alright. too many words on my > part to be sure. > > > > Dear Steve, > > I'm not sure you could write too many words ... you always seem to say what > is on your mind very succinctly, yet with real clarity, and because you are > also a poet, there is always poetry in everything you write, which makes it a > delight to read.
