Guest guest
Did you know ... janayitA - is the sanskrit root for the word 'progenitor' ? And prajanan - is the sanskrit root for the word 'progeny' ? And the Sanskrit joosa meaning soup gave rise to the word 'juice' ? And the sanskrit 'soopa' meaning broth gave rise to the word 'soup' and 'sip'. So here is another way that we can pick up Sanskrit Vocabulary - simply by knowing the etymology of some of the words used in English. Please check the following link for a list of such words http://www.angelfire.com/ma/vivekananda/sanscrit.html Jai Maa Latha
Guest guest
Am still up to date on Navratri prep schedule as of Oct. 6. Should we e mail these updates directly to you, rather than as a post to the group, and if so, how does one do that? Would also like to do the M.M. again saturday. Thanks! Jai Maa.
