Guest guest
Latha This issue you face we are all facing as devotees wanting to do sadhana, to bow down to infinite consciousness, to put down the ego. Recently I asked Swamiji something related. We have a plan to do some ambitious sadhana. It appears to be, God does not will it at this time. What then? "ADAPT THE SADHANA." This is what you are working on. Thakur, p 309, Gospel of Ramakrishna: "A devotee who can call on God while living a householder's life is a hero[ine] indeed. God thinks: 'S{He} who has renounced the world for my sake will surely pray to Me; he must serve Me. Is there anything very remarkable in that? People will cry shame on him if he fails to do so. But he is blessed indeed who prays to me in the midst of his worldly duties. He is trying to find Me, overcoming a great obstacle--pushing away, as it were, a huge block of stone weighing a ton. Such a [wo]man is a real hero[ine.]"
