Thank you Nirmal for the reminder for posting a chart on the progress - here are the high level milestones that we accomplished together. Group total of 100 K navarna - accomplished and more !!! 1008 SKS - I think we fell short by a 100 or so as I never got the complete updates - never mind ! and here are the individual totals =================================== Rudran Narayanan Steven - 911 malas of Navarna, 500 rounds of SKS -- WOW, where do you get all that energy from ? Nirmalananda - did a Chandi EVERYDAY for Navaratri . Thank you Nirmal, I bow to your consistency. Chris - a brave first timer did the Chandi thrice during Navaratri. See Chris , you DID it ! GOOD for you ! Vasantha - a total newbie to Chandi chanted EVERYDAY, besides doing 510 malas of Navarna and 250 rounds of SKS. You are an inspiration ! Dilip did 100+ malas of Navarna mantra and 88 times of the 32 names of Durga , besides chanting a whole load of scriptures. Thank you Dilip. Our beloved methodical Michael, took his sankalpa of 11 times a day of SKS and did it sincerely and consistently, and sent me efficient reminders . Dear Mike, per the counts sent in , you have done 99, hope you will do the 11 today and cross the holy number of 108 this Navaratri. Ardis, Querida and JD thank you for your updates. I know that you must have had a good Navaratri too. As for me, this Navaratri has been all about flexing spiritual muscles - finding out my capacity and learning to expand slowly . I aimed for the stars but have been grateful to hit the treetop atleast. My personal total has been 5 Chandis this Navaratri followed by some repetitions of Navarna, SKS and 32 names of Durga. Every day (14-21October) I chant the Chandi Path and every day (14 -22 October) I chanted 32 names Durga and 11 malas Navarna mantra and 11 times SKS.
