This weeks installment of demon awareness:

Parivaritah, aka Wandering to and Fro according to Swami S's translation.

This one is one demon of which we're all very aware. We experience him as

the "Gee I wonder if the grass is greener over there," thought. We also see

him many times in others who are seekers. And as Ekhart Tolle likes to say,

"Why do so few seekers become finders?"

The answer to his question is: they identify themselves as a seeker and

therefore, when they find something of permanence they hesitate to give up

that "seeker" identity.

Thus is the power of seeker identity, wandering to and fro, looking for

something that is not findable in the physical world.

I feel that this is only one aspect of Mr. Parivaritah. Can you guys point

me to others?
