Guest guest
Dear Ruk, The Kasyapa Sutras are amazing, and I'm glad you brought them up in the DMC. I have been studying them for quite a few weeks now (before the Guru Gita was brought forth) and find them challenging and rewarding. To be honest, very challenging. I was thinking of something Linda said a while back about being frustrated when she tried to do a group activity on the Chandi while in the midst of her own personal Chandi study. Earlier this month, Parvati blessed us all no matter what course of action (or inaction) we followed during this navaratri prior to Diwali. Then today Ram brought up the concept of personal spiritual practice and commitment. While I wholeheartedly encourage group work, I think it is most important to follow the voice of Divine Mother as she stirs the ocean of love and devotion within our individual consciousness. Thank you again for writing about the Kasyapa Sutras. Namaste - rmerani Wednesday, November 03, 2004 11:32 AM Kasyapa Namaste to all who are now in the chant/read/listen/understand theGuru Gita sankalpa. There is a beautiful sutra among the KasyapaSutras (# 15 ) which says the Guru is the Cause of all Causes. "Srigurunathah sarvakaranakaranam" from the book titled "The Guru andGoddess" page 104. Swamiji has expanded on the above sutra and IMHO definitely a"mustread". He says "The entire Guru Gita could be a commentary on this sloka."Ruk
