Dear Brian ~ I don't think you're nuts. On the other hand, I'd really like for Someone to ease up on my, in terms of my ill health. I have had all other kinds of suffering in my life to test my metal and reform me in the fire of tribulation. But just this one eansy peansy thing, only, of course, if it is the will of the Mother. Guest guest
Hardships make it easier to realize god. Don't think of this as "hard" think of this as an opportunity. Don't think of this as a curse, think of this as a blessing that mother has bestowed. Then, once you're done thinking, stop thinking. Guest guest
Dear Linda, Pardon me, please, for stepping in here...but I am finding that my heart aches for you, and I don't think that hardship is good. I don't think pain makes it easier to find God; I don't think pain is good. I think asking Lakshmi or anyone for help in easing pain is good. Guest guest
The mind labels things. The mind says, "This is wrong, that is right, if I could do this I'd be perfect, etc etc etc." It is the mind which has declared depression and other modern clinically defined "diseases" as bad. But experience is just experience and the mind has no right to label or box anything up in a neat package. Nothing is as simple as the mind would like it to be. I spent a great deal of time fighting pain in Y2K. It did absolutely no good, but luckilly for me very little harm as well. My mind could not accept the reality of my situation and through that lack of surrender prolonged its own perceived agony. Once I accepted the pain and the grief, once I allowed the pain to surge through my mind and bodies, the pain did what it was made to do and I was liberated from the lies of my life by Mother and by her mercy. It was my ego that surrendered the definition of pain, the fear of pain, and the belief that I didn't deserve pain. Then Mother stepped in and said, "let me heal you my child." Pain is the best mechanism for stopping a mind cold in its tracks because the mind, no matter how hard it tries, really has no control over physical or emotional pain. This is what I have leared. Your milage may vary. Love, Brian "In the begining, the universe was created.
