Namaste Chris,

Sorry to hear about your kitty. One thing that Shree Maa and Swamiji

have always recommended for a prayer concerning an animal or person

that has left the body is the gayatri mantra. Are you familiar with

this mantra?

 

om bhuur bhuvah svah tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasya dhiimahi dhiyo yo nah
