Guest guest
Namaste All, esp Gina, I've been chanting and singing to the Gods for many years thanks to Gurudeva, sometimes my voice is sweet and sometimes like gravel :-), when love flows and Kanda is forgotten that is when it is the best. We have a wonderful on line group that continues to inspire me. Blessings to your Seattle group. Om Namah Sivaya Kanda
Guest guest
Dear all- Namaste- Thank you for this reminder, Swamiji. Thank you all for this satsangha. Thank you Shree Ma. Jai Ma Lakshmi! Oh thank you all! I so benefit from all of your wisdom and stories. It is an interesting thing. I lead kirtan and chanting here in Seattle. I teach a mantra class with a sanskrit professor. And yet I feel like such a beginner. How is that? Oh Ma...let us all awaken to Who we are, to your omnipresent beauty and love! So on Thursday, I've been asked to lead a kirtan and some people will record it, maybe for a live cd recording. I am asking for the blessing of the grace of total surrender and absorption in the devotion to our Divine Love! I have been chanting the Lakshmi gayatri a bit and also mala for "om srim lakshmiyai namaha". Mostly we do very simple chants here, especially because I don't know who will come to chant...many have maybe never chanted before this lifetime. Any suggestions of something else I should offer, a way to celebrate Diwali. It is my understanding that Diwali begins Thursday evening, is that correct? My friends in cyberspace, will you send a prayer to help us really surrender and remember who we are in the music? I keep thinking of that story..."I have no gift to bring parumpa pum pum...that's fit to give a king..pa rump pa pum pum..." And yet, this is what I have to offer, and my heart and the song and all is God! Jai Ma! What a silly mind this is. Thank you so much. And thank you Latha-ji for your telling of surrendering those thoughts at the altar! Only God/Divine Ma can really open our hearts to surrender. It is she who does all! Thank you! Bless you, Love you all!
