Guest guest
Question from Chris: Is the dhyaanam referring to the guru tattwa when it says "...perceives all existence and resides in infinite bodies?" Or does that refer to Shiva, and the latter part refer to the guru tattwa, as a manifestation, or perhaps an activity of Shiva, when it says, "Meditate upon the syllables Gu Ru, the manifestation of the eternal, the perceivable form of letters, who exposes the principle That, who always remains in the state of perfect equilibrium, whose feet are perceived to emit light." Swamiji's response : Shiva is the Guru of all Gurus, and therefore they are one and the same. He is the Guru, and all other gurus are links in a chain which bring devotees to the Guru of all Gurus. The Guru Tattva is Shiva.
