He started his yoga practice as a burn patient; someone recommended he try yoga to restore some of his movement and flexibility. He said one of his biggest successes was working with his mother to help her with unmanageable pain from shingles. (He says it's the only time he ever got to tell his mother what to do :-)I also did a little poking around on the 'net and found a paper for you; Dear masbauju ~ I can't find the words to tell you what this means to me. I have not had as much pain this week, and perhaps it is because of the thoughts and prayers going out for me. I have thought of yoga, for a variety of reasons, including pain management. One yoga teacher I checked into does not work with differently abled people; I have two more to check out. Perhaps I can persuade one to do private lessons. When I lived back in the DC area, it was easier to find teachers who worked with people who had different kinds of physical problems. I do think this would help me, so I thank you for the extra little push. I will check out the other teachers this week. : ) And thank you to for the lead to the articles. Bless you.
