God willing, we will have a group Sadhana for Christmas ...Why dont you suggest one ?

Dear Latha ~ well, hmmm ... if I had any of the other books, like the

Cosmic Puja, for example, I would suggest reading so many chapters a

day, beginning Dec. 1 and finishing on Dec. 25, and then so something

else special on the 26. I don't know if I ordered the book if I would

get it fast enough. What do you think? Do you know how long it takes

to get something if it is ordered online?

My other suggestion is that we pick a different prayer or mala or

passage, and someone who has the books could post these; a different

one for each day, again beginning on December 1 and ending on the 25,

with something else special on the 26. For example, we could start off

with a Shree Maa mantra (there is one I believe, but I don't have the

words: something like Om Hrim Shrim Shree Maayai Namaha. Then the

second day, we could do one for Swamiji: Om Hrim Shrim Satyananda

Saraswati Namaha. Then the 3rd we could do Durga mantra, then Laksmi

mantra, then Shiva mantra, and so on. But perhaps this is too

complicated, and I am just thinking out loud.

Maybe we could just alternating day malas of Shree Maa Mantra and

Swamiji mantra, focusing on the thanks we feel for their presence in

our lives, particularly as we move towards a new year of having their

blessings and assistance.

Anyone else have an idea? Jai Maa Jai Swamiji ~ Linda

Dear Linda,

I like this suggestion a lot ... and I think it will be terrific way

of heralding Christmas and the New Year.

I will put forth this idea to Swamiji and request him to suggest a

set of mantras that we could repeat maybe 108 times (or more) each

day.

We could have a different mantra each day - as you suggested -to

keep it interesting and varied.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion.

Jai Maa !!!
