Guest guest
My sincere greetings to all of the dear children of Maa. I am so grateful for your messages each day. I read every word even though I am rarely able to contribute. Your bhaava is certainly contagious, and you all help to keep my "why" strong! Thank you so very much. In my ongoing study of the Chandi, recently Maa has been showing me things that I do not understand. Please forgive me if these have been covered before, but I have searched through all the messages, files, and class transcripts for the answers before I decided to write this request for help. Here are the questions: How is it that Asiloman (2:42, want of resolution), Parivarita (2:43, wandering to and fro), and Sugriva (5:102, he who appears to be a friend) are never mentioned as being killed by Durga, even though they are identified as asuras? What is the spiritual significance of Ambika killing Dhumraloka (sinful eyes, 6:3) by reducing him to ashes with the mantra "Hmmm?" What is the symbolism of the rocks and trees (3:17), thunderbolt (8:57-61), bees (11:52-54), and Raktadantika's teeth (11:43-44)? What weapon did Durga use to kill Mahahanu (great deceiver), Ugrasya (violent temper), and Ugravirya (passion) in 3:19? Thank you for any assistance you can offer. Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji!
