Guest guest
Namaste to all, Someone recently asked Swamiji this question: Q: When I do puja and pray for peace for my family and this world, sometimes my mind wanders. Am I still having an effect? Swamiji answered: (this is paraphrased) A: Yes. You are still having an effect. Just the fact that you have made an effort to sit down is a great benefit. At least you know that your body is in one place, not moving here and there in worldy interactions and your tongue is reciting mantras, not words of the world. Eventually your mind will sit still, too. So to everybody on this online sanga, keep up the great efforts in your spiritual practices. You are having an effect on yourselves, your family and the world!

Jai Ma! (p.s.: if this thread continues, i threaten to take it offline. ).)
