Guest guest
Question from Steve: What were the circumstances when you changed from a Western name to Swami Satyananda Saraswati? What was the significance and implication for you? Do you have any thoughts on this regarding your students and their names? Swamiji's response: My Guru ordained me as a Swami of the Saraswati order, so my name was changed. It was done in a ceremony of worship. Guest guest
Swamiji, Are there any members of your lineage from India you wish us to be aware of? Where you known as simply "Satyananda" prior to ordination? What do you like to be called above all else? Jai Maa, Swamiji, thank you for talking with us! steve , "Latha Nanda" <lathananda> wrote: > > > Question from Steve: > What were the circumstances when you changed from a Western name to > Swami Satyananda Saraswati?
