I viewed your video on meaning and method of worship and its great, I

thank you for making such info available. After watching the video I

realised the passion involved in one's worship.

However king Satyavrats story was a bit different. According to what

I heard was that the holy cow was named KamaDhenu and that after

stealing the holy cow Satyavrat was killed by shree Parashu Ram as

Satyavrat was filled with ahamkaar because he recieved the strenghth

of ten thousand men from Dattatreya devata.

 

Swamiji's response:

I think you are confusing the story of Satyavrat with the story of

Sahasrabahu, who was killed by Parashuram. Actually Satyavrat

ascended to heaven in the yajna performed by Vishmamitra.
