Guest guest
Dear All, The sadhana of chanting or Puja or Homa is best done in one sitting. We take a sankalpa to chant a certain text, and the process is to sit in one posture (to the best of our abilities) and not break this posture /get up to do other things until our vow of worship is complete. But , sometimes life happens and we are forced to take a break for many reasons ... Swamiji has advised that in a such a case we do these preliminary steps before we proceed from where we left off 1) Acaman- purify your hands , mouth ( OM Kesavaya namah swaha ... to Om Vishnu - these passages are in the beginning of every text ie the Kushandika) 2) Purify your asan - "Om asanasya mantrasya.." and chant the mantras upto the clap hands 3 times and snap fingers in the 10 directions with the mantra in the book. 3) Re establish your sankalpa. (Om adya jambudvipe ...) Hope this helps. If anyone has any questions or need clarifications ,please let me know. Jai Maa Latha

In the case of the Chandi please look for the page number 24 - if you have the latest version of the book. Hope this helps. Please let me know of any further questions.
