The Goddess Debi McKee was born to the Goddess Krista McKee at 1:57 AM PST.

She's 20 inches long, 6 lbs, 2 oz.

She was exactly four weeks premature.

Mom and baby are in perfect condition.

Dad is exstatic.

Everyone is very tired...

Dear Brian,

In Bengali and other North East Indian languages, most of the time ,

the sound 'v' is replaced with a 'b' - for example 'Vrindavan'

becomes 'Brindaban'.

So it is VERY appropriate and clever of you to have named your

daughter DEBI aka DEVI ie THE GODDESS.

Congratulations on your Debi.

Of course my first thought was " Gee , that doesnt rhyme with

Clarice and Maurice"

Love

Latha

Paraphrasing from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.: It is not for the

sake of the wife that the husband loves the wife, but for the sake of

the Self that dwells within her. It is not for the sake of the

husband that the wife loves the husband, but for the sake of the Self

dwelling within him. It is not for the sake of the child that the

parents love the child, but for the sake of the Self dwelling within

her. And it is not for the sake of the parents that the child loves

the parents, but for the sake of the Self dwelling within them.

May you all prove to be blessings to one another and through your

lives together be a blessing unto the world.

Jai Mahadev, Jai Mahadevi!

OM NAMAH SIVAYA

what a blessing to have the physical presence of GOD descend into

your life and home. imagine The Guru's teachings departed to you in

the comfort of your own home. a child is truly GOD. the lessons of

Pure Love, Devotion, Honesty, and Faith all in one package. a

perfectly clean mirror. always reflecting back to you. she loves

everything equally and has no prejudice or judgement. a child is

not a Hindu, Christian, Muslim, or Jew. a child just is a child.

a perfect example of a human being verses a human doing.

They say children pick the parents, what a blessing she picked you.
