Dear Brian, In Bengali and other North East Indian languages, most of the time , the sound 'v' is replaced with a 'b' - for example 'Vrindavan' becomes 'Brindaban'. So it is VERY appropriate and clever of you to have named your daughter DEBI aka DEVI ie THE GODDESS. Congratulations on your Debi.
