Guest guest
Namaste Steve, Previously you had asked about some rules, so in follow up to your question and per Swamiji's suggestion here are a few rules that Swamiji created for devotees to follow who visit the Mandir. These probably can apply in most ashrams and other places of worship as well. I hope this list is kind of what you had in mind. 1. Maintain the highest respect for others as well as yourself. (Ramakrishna once said: Respect is Heaven, Respect is Liberation) Don't impose on any one else's bhava. That means don't change the bhava of anyone else's worship, unless you have a prior sankalpa, which everyone knows about. 2. Schedule your sankalpa so that it does not interfere with anyone else's. 3. No inappropriate attire. 4. Make sure you have clean clothes with no jhuta. 5.Don't leave things on the floor 6.Clean your mess 7.Always recite the mantra "Kleen"(clean)
Guest guest
Hi Parvati, As a practical matter, what does this mean: Don't impose on any one else's bhava. That means don't change the bhava of anyone else's worship, unless you have a prior sankalpa, which everyone knows about. What is jhuta?
