Dear Friends,

I am Frederic Eger from Paris. I am new to this group and wanted to

say hello. I have been connected to the Hindu Dharma for a year and

half now.

I try to make Ma Ananda Mayi, Lakshmi and Lalita's "energies" part of my everyday life.

I contacting this group because I am and feel isolated. I was touched

by the proposition of prayers for Christmas such as the 1000 names

recitation and pujas. I really enjoy having ideas to add concrete

spiritual activities in this world poisoned by the absence of

Faith...

May the Mother be with you all.

have 8 prayers er players , so far for our Prayer Santa. Can each

participant - to please send me (email tolathananda ) a two

line description of yourself that I canpass on to the person thats

gonna pray for you. This is so that youare a more familiar person to

him/her.I was thinking that perhaps people might want to spend the

actualchristmas day with their own families ... so inorder to make

thingseasier , the participants could "gift" their prayer on any of

thefollowing days 23, 24 or 25th of Dec, but inform the recipient

onChristmas day.So here again are the "rules"1) The gift is any

prayer of choice by the participant. You could for example dedicate a

1000 names of Lakshmi for thewelfare of the the recipient . And oh,

you could do a mala ofMahamrtyunjaya Mantra as a stocking stuffer. You

could a homa or a path (dear ol Chandi) or a Puja (shiva Durgahanuman

or any deity - you pick)2) I will send you the name your recipient

and their email id on the22nd Dec , along with the sankalpa.3) Do the

puja/gift of worship on any of the following days - 23,24,or 25th.4)

Send an email to the recipient on the 25th.Does it sound good ?I also

hope that more people will join in this little bit of fun.Jai Maa

Frederic,

You are not alone in your isolation. Many of us here have no group of

like-minded devotees nearby with whom to have satsanga. You are very

welcome here. No doubt Latha will give you the low-down on the

"rules". Please feel free to join in on any of the group activities

you feel inspired to do. No matter who your gurudeva is, or who

inspires you, I'm sure you will find Shree Maa and Swamiji inspiring too.

May God bless you and your sadhana.

Chris
