Prana Pratishtha is a process of establishing life into a deity.

Hope Parvati can give more details on the actual process.

 

It is mentioned in the chapter called the Highest Meaning of the

Goddess in the Chandi , that chanting this chapter (Highest Meaning

of the Goddess ) is beneficial during establishment of life in a

deity.

 

Prana Pratishtha is not the same thing as the Highest Meaning of the

Goddess.
