Frederic: Prayer for earthquake victims

Namaste and Bonjour to Frederic and all,

Swamiji has suggested 2 mantras to perform for the souls who have

left their bodies during the earthquake and for those who are

suffering now.

 

1. Mrityunjaya mantra:

tryambakam yajaamahe sugandhim pusti varddhanam urvvaarukamiva

bandhanaammrtyormmuksiiyamaamrtat

 

2.Gayatri mantra

Om bhuurbhuvah svah tat saviturvarenyam bhargo devasya dhiimahi

dhiyo yo nah pracodayaat om

for the 23.000 souls that already died and the million homelesses in

India, Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Philippine, Malaysia... in the earthquake

8.3 richter scale and the tsunami that devasted the Southern Asian-
