Guest guest
sometimes god talks to u in sanskrit. sometimes u talk to god in english. sometimes god talks to us via nature. sometimes we understand. sometimes we do not understand. the universe of the TWO is always returning us to the ONE. u don't see just the TWO; eyes re-turn to the ONE source of that vision. this is why being a devotee is the Best Thing. Guest guest
hi ata! yes, the one source is the guru. but the guru also appears in duality as a being. this guru in duality has the role of ushering us to the source, which is also the guru in absolute terms. , ata <another_tiny_atom> wrote: > "...ONE source of that vision.." is this the guru > > > Steve Connor <sconnor@a...> wrote: > > > sometimes god talks to u in sanskrit. > > sometimes u talk to god in english. > > sometimes god talks to us via nature. > > sometimes we understand. > > sometimes we do not understand. > > the universe of the TWO > > is always returning us to the ONE. > > u don't see just the TWO; > > eyes re-turn to the ONE source of that vision. > > this is why > > being a devotee > > is the Best Thing. > > > Links > > > / > > > > > Terms of Service. > > > > > > Mail - 250MB free storage. Guest guest
indian thought can be quite confounding in that, words mean different things at different times and context. mind can't get a single fix on this word. its meaning is beyond mind, that is its purpose, to take us beyond duality. sanatana. the eternal way. very very liberal and embracing. today, i have no guru. so i must relate things to that absolute one. then tomorow i have a guru, and still, he or she, if they are real, will take us back to THAT. it's like those 2 feet. there they are. and the text says to embrace those feet. what?!? embrace those feet? yes, but no, no but yes. all duality is taking us to the absolute. , ata <another_tiny_atom> wrote: > When we read the Guru Gita, having no guru in duality, do we relate the text to the absolute guru Atom gets confused. > > Steve Connor wrote: this guru in duality has the role of ushering us to the source, which is also the guru in absolute terms. > > > > > > The all-new My – Get yours free!
