Guest guest
Swamiji, I hope I'm not becoming pesky.... At first I did not understand your answer at all because I have been thinking of fire as a "thing in itself", but it is not, is it. What I'm saying is that I have thought that the true nature of fire is divine, but I recognize there is a difference between "the world's" fire and divine fire. Divine fire is "awakened," while the world's fire is not (I have this right, don't I?). Of course this brings up the question of "the fire of prana," a more subtle (and conscious?) manifestation of the same principle. Well, one thing at a time, I guess. So, then, is this process of purification (the focusing of our intentions to use the fire as a means of purification), then a part of this awakening process, part of the establishment of divine consciousness into the body of fire? (If you would care to discuss the relationship of the pranic fire to the fire of homa, I would not mind...)
