Question from Steve:

What about the problems that arise if someone is turning to silence

and family life etc is creating "noise"? That noisy duality must be

seen as the Devi's sound, not contrary to AUM?

 

The householder needs to be somewhat of an very wise person to

transition as he/she gets older? She needs to believe her way is

true?

 

Swamiji's response:

It is true, I hope, that we get wiser with age. That's because it

becomes more and more necessary.

yes it becomes acutely obvious how futile it is to muscle through

things doesn't it.

Dear Steve,

Your comment brought to my mind a conversation that I had with Maa a

few months ago.

 

She was telling me about the time that she was doing sadhana during

her early years . Once she fell and broke her arm during the course

of her sadhana , but she continued to complete the worship anyway.

 

Muscling through things ? Sometimes it takes us all our energy ...

and but like Maa's example we need to keep at it.
