Guest guest
Online Sanskrit Dictionary- www.alkhemy.com/sanskrit/dict/ This dictionary is arranged according to Devanagari sequence. It gives a list of Sanskrit words printed in Devanagari with its transliterated form in ITRANS and a short English meaning. Since you can go directly to the correct page or group of pages by using the "page" box at the top of the screen, I have found these notes useful. Vowels Initial Consonants Initial Page # Page # a 3 k 43 aa (A) 25 kh 58 small I 33 g 58 ii (I) 35 gh 63 u 35 ch 64 uu (U) 41 chh 68 R^I,R^I 41 j 69 e 42 jh,JN,T,Th 73 ai 43 D, DH,N 73 au,aM,aH 43 t,th 75 L^I,L^I 43 d 80 dh 89 n 93 p 102 ph,b 125 bh 130 m 137 y 149 r 155 l 160 v 163 sh 182 shh,s 190 h 216 kSh 219 GY Hindii) 220 Within each consonant group, remember to follow the Sanskrit vowel order.
