Guest guest
Question from Nanda: Some of the publications like Shiva Puja and Annapurna Sahasranam , have a 'swaha' after the end of each name in the 1000 names. Can you please let us know if we should use 'swaha' or 'namah' if we are just chanting the text , but not at the fire. Swamiji's response: Without the fire Namah is correct. Guest guest
Jai Maa, dear Nandaji, and all of my beloved family! i am soooo glad you asked Swamiji this question, it is one i have been wanting to ask myself. i had a feeling that Namah was the answer, but then i would think, 'Maybe Swaha would be proper to say if you are visualizing connecting the Divine Fire Within to the Divine [Fire] Energy of the Goddess without. In Oneness. 'Swaha' 'i am one with God.' But, from now on when i am chanting any Sahasranamas, i will say 'Namah.' Chanting Sahasranamas is one of my favorite Sadhanas. Sometimes, i feel i can taste Divine Nectar starting to drip from my lips, the Names are so sweet! Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna Deva! muktimaa , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > > > Question from Nanda: > Some of the publications like Shiva Puja and Annapurna Sahasranam , > have a 'swaha' after the end of each name in the 1000 names.
