Guest guest
Dear Blessed Srini! Jai Maa! Oh! i am reeling in bliss from your description of what you do leading up to your chanting of Sri Sri Chandi Path! You have painted within my heart this beautiful, inspirational scene at sunset, enabling me to call it forth as a beacon of devotional light. i cannot begin to tell you, dear brother, how you have inspired me in regards to my own Sankalpa! May Maa continue to bless you with the Holy Awareness of Her Presence. May you continue to sip sweet Amrita from Her Sacred Pool of Bliss. You WILL complete your Sankalpa with Joy! Of this, i have no doubt! Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna Deva! muktimaa , "ammasmkd" <r_srinivasan@e...> wrote: > a. I chant in the evening a lttle after sunset. My mind is coloured by what I think through the day. As Swami Rama says, the conscious mind comes out first. These are the thoughts that the Divine Mother has to battle with. If we change what we think about during the day and make it more connected with Devi, sadhana will be less boring. b. Keeping the Ishta's picture in front of you, reading about Him/Her or listening to their words, thinking about them, creates the Bhava before the sadhana. I spend 5-10 minutes doing this. >I sweep the worship area before I start. I think, what if the Divine > Mother comes. I make some space for Her so that She can walk around > me. Guest guest
there are many ways to bring regularity to practice. here are some maa suggested, or is said to do herself, [paraphrased, not exact quotes here] that in a way, might not even be regarded as formal sadhana, but can become a habit of mind. 1. in the morning say, i am a child of god. [swamiji adds to that, sing to god.] i am here because god wants me here. i am happy to be here, like hanuman is happy. 2. at night fall into LOVE, like into the arms of god. [shivapuri baba said, do OM as you fall asleep.] i go to sleep saying love, love, love. so you start and end each day with GOD. now, that's regular! , "muktimaa" <muktimaa@a...> wrote: > > > > Dear Blessed Srini! > Jai Maa!
