We want to give & receive the full attention of our beloved deity. Establishment of life We are taking the prana (life force) from our heart to the Kalash. We place or blow our inner life force into the Kalash so that it takes on the qualities of life. It becomes a living murti! Hymn of the establishment of life As it says in one of the verses - All and everything has been established in you, from whence you grant the fruits of desires... Manifest your presence within us. Always be pleased. All of the above are recited as part of the “Establishment” The ‘Kalash” then becomes the living embodiment of our beloved deity.
