Question from Rajan:

I read the FAQ on the website and you were explaining how the baths

worked, from what I gathered-does it mean that you dont give

individual baths to the murti but use the individual mantras to add

to cup individual items(ghee, milk, honey etc)and then mix them

using panchamrit mantra and then bathe the murti with it?

 

You also state that the rudraksh and flower are placed on the alter

and then Sindoor is offered on the flower but I offer all these

things on the murti itself? is that the right way?

 

How do you offer chandan,Sindoor and Turmeric? I offer it as a Tilak

on the forehead of the murti of the deity, is that right?

There is no wrong way to show your love to God.

Yes, these procedures are correct. Some people have pictures,

photos, or other murtis which do not lend themselves to direct

application. If you can apply your offerings directly to the murti,

this is best.
