So next stressful moment (and arent they just waiting around the

corner) , let us stop and visualize as vividly as we can the physical

image of our ishta deva, and watch the stress disappear !

Namaste Nanda,

Gurudeva also recommended this, along with visualizing your connection

to your home shrine for his devotees, my ishta devata is Siva.

Dear All,

I was chatting with a dear friend yesterday who mentioned how she

applies a technique that she learned from the Chandi during times of

stress. And no surprise - it works !

This is mentioned in Chandi Chapter 5 Verse 82

Swamiji translates this verse as

".. we bow to the Seer of All, who , when bowed to with devotion,

and remembered in a PHYSICAL IMAGE , immediately terminates our

every adversity"

So next stressful moment (and arent they just waiting around the

corner) , let us stop and visualize as vividly as we can the

physical image of our ishta deva, and watch the stress disappear !

Jai Nandaji!

Thank-you for reminding everyone of this truly flawless method! It

works! It works! It works! :<) Lately, i am so filled with the

thought of Shree Maa, that when stress starts trying to show it's

ugly face, Maa chops off it's head before it get's a chance to

completely take hold. Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna Deva!

Love and Hugs,

muktimaa

P.S. Once again, i bow to the 'Naming Maa Project' that continues to

fill me and thrill me!

Dear Kanda,

My ishta devata is also Shiva, so you are my brother in deed.

I love the instruction to visualize your home temple in times of stress. The

home temple is the place of daily worship, where one connects with the Ishta.

So visualizing the temple as well as the Ishta and the Guru are all it takes

to defeat stress.

Thank you,

Ardis
