One good way to learn about female dieties is to obtain some of the books available at the Shree Maa website, such as the "Chandi Path," which tells of Durga, Kali, Saraswati and Lakshmi, or the "Devi Gita" or "Kali Puja." Shree Maa's website: http://www.shreemaa.org/ It is good to note, however, that these are primarily worship books. If you want some quick ways to learn about Hindu goddesses there are a couple of good websites, listed below. Blessings and good luck with your searching. http://hinduism.about.com/ This is a great site for introduction to female dieties. Just look to the right side of the website, to the area in red, under "Articles and Resources" for the link to "gods and goddesses." http://www.hindunet.org/god/ This is a good site also. Just click on the link, "Goddesses," in the center of the page or look to the left hand side, items listed in blue, and click on "Forms of Goddess."
