Before the usual reminder (see below), here is Maa:

"My children, we are very proud that you are praying for this

Universe. We pray that you ask yourself the question - what is the

purpose of my life? what is my goal? what do I want to give to this

world to say "Thank you" for allowing me to be here ? The asking of

this question is the beginning of meditation and the answer to this

question is life of prayer. Bless you,Shree Maa" (February message

If you would like to participate in Prayer Club on Saturday, February

19, please send your name and the names of your recipients to

_prayer_club by noon MST Friday, February 18.

The sankalpa will be posted Friday afternoon so that you can be ready

to chant the Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra 21 times at the time of your

choice on Saturday. Jai Maa! Jai Shiva! Jai

mrityor-mukshiya-maamritat

We worship the Father of the three worlds, who emits the excellent

fragrance which nourishes all. As a cucumber is released from its

bondage to the stem, so may we be freed from Death to dwell in

New to the Prayer Club? If you'd like to join Prayer Club but aren't

sure what it's all about, read on. It's as easy as 1-2-3!

(1) Email _prayer_club to let us know that you

want to pray and if there are people that you want to put on the

recipient list.

(2) Prayer Club will make a sankalpa (vow with intent listing all

participants and the recipients for the week) and post it on Friday.

Recite the sankalpa before doing the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra.

(3) Sometime on Saturday you select a time that fits your schedule.

Recite the sankalpa silently or aloud and then chant (repeat) the MMM

21 times. The chanting can be done silently or aloud. If you need

help learning the mantra, there are instructions in the home page

There is also an online class at the Shree Maa web site where you can

listen to Shree Maa chant the MMM while you follow along with the

We make a new sankalpa (vow) every week. People join from week to

week. Your commitment is for one week at a time. All the details

for the Prayer Club are directed by Shree Maa and Swamiji. Prayer
