Namaste Jay-ji,

I have forwarded your question to Swamiji, in the meantime I will

answer it to the best of my knowledge.

At the Mandir, milk is offered separately without any other

ingredients mixed in.

When offered to Shiva, here is the mantra that is chanted during the

abishekam

"Om Kaamadhenu samudbhuutam

sarveshaam jeevanam param

paavanam yagna hetushcha

snaanaartham pratigrhyataam.

Om Namah Shivaya paya snaanam samarpayami".

Here is what it means

"Om Coming from the ocean of being, the Fulfiller of all Desires,

the Grantor of Supreme Bliss to all souls. For the motive of

purifying or sanctifying this holy union, we request you to accept

this bath. With this offering of milk for your bath Om Namah Shivaya"

Hope this helps. Jai Shiva

Dear Latha Ji

Hearing from you after a long time. I pray that you be in the best of

your health and happiness. For abhishakam I meant the "maha

abhishekam".....where we pour milk non-stop. Hope this clarifies the

answer I am seeking from you.

Regards

Jay
