Guest guest Posted February 23, 2005 Report Share Posted February 23, 2005 I want to thank my brother Jayadev for his heartfelt appeal to all to attend the Guru Gita class on Instant Messenger on Saturdays at 11:30 am PST. The classes are quite amazing. As we greet each other in love each week and open our hearts, minds and souls to this "Song of Worship of the Guru" we have become a satsang; a community of Truth. This satsang is blessed by Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati (our Swamiji). And we feel their presence and blessings each week. We are taking the verses very slowly, attempting to understand them fully, letting them sink in and become part of us. We may start with an intellectual understanding. But we want to go further and deeper. Sometimes the bhav (the spiritual energy) of our conversation is so strong that we all feel it and we can't help crying out to our Beloved Gurus and to the Divine Mother. We would love to have more participants! Don't be shy! It is fine if you join just to listen. You can ask any questions that might arise. We will answer as we can or we will refer your questions to Swamiji. Our prayer is that someday all will join and feel free to participate.
