Guest guest
Dear All, Here is a question for the group. It was prompted by Ardis' and Sankar's post on how they feel so inspired by "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna " Can you share the ONE book that has inspired you the most in changing your outlook on life ? I request only ONE because then we REALLY have to sift through to see which was the book that really really REALLY inspired us the MOST. It would also be great if you could either quote from the book or explain what it is about the book that inspired you. Here is mine. My inspirational book of all time , the book that caused a definite change to my outlook on my behaviour towards people is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I felt (and still feel) so moved by the character of Atticus Finch - the epitome of decency and a true Christian attitude - to love his neighbor as himself. To me that embodies the best spiritual goal as defined by Swamiji. Here is hoping to hear from you. Jai Maa Nanda
