Guest guest
-Namaste Ardisji and all of our Beloved Family! Yes, for me, also! This book absolutely deserves 'Honorable Mention'. i read 'Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda'[the first time] around the same time i read 'Gospel of Ramakrishna' the first time. It was an amazing experience, as they kind of went hand and hand. i found that one enhances the other. One amazing chapter of the 'Autobiography' has M. the author of 'the Gospel of R.K.' as the main character along with Yoganandaji! This 9th. chapter of the book is called 'The Blissful Devotee and His Cosmic Romance'(Master Mahasaya). One of the most amazing things to me, is that M. was living in the very same house on Amherst St. in Calcutta where Yoganandaji and his family once lived. In fact, it was that very house where Yoganandaji's dearly beloved mother had passed away when he was a young boy. This book has been instrumental in inspiring so many people to take to the spiritual path. It certainly is considered to be a spiritual classic. This book (also) has been with me (along with the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna) for over 30 years, now. Dear family, if any of you have not read this profound book,as yet...Please do! Once you start reading it, i guarantee you, you won't be able to put it down. In fact, i highly recommend any of Yoganandaji's works. They are all very inspiring, and his prayers and poetry are heart-rending! Om. Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! Jai Ramakrishna Deva! muktimaa -- In , Ardis Jackson <ardis1@v...> wrote: > I was deeply impressed by Autobiography of a Yogi also. It painted a whole > different approach to life and Reality.
