Guest guest Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 Dear All, When I was at the Mandir last weekend, I participated in the group homa, did a little seva, got my head dunked in oil (wont go into THAT story) had a bath to remove the oil as best as i could , and rushed to meet Swamiji who despite his schedule and sadhana always has a kind word to spare for the least of his devotees ... I entered his office and sat down. Swamiji sniffed and said "you smell great" I said "I do ?" and my mind was furiously racing "just what WAS in that oil anyway ? " Swamiji said "it is the smell of smoke " Aah, Swamiji, you can certainly sniff out , both literally and figuratively, which of your devotees do sadhana... Thanks for the Karma barbecue !
