Guest guest
Namaste. Some one had asked what Prayer Club was all about. I can only share what it means to me personally. Some time ago I prayed to Lord Shiva to lead me to a means by which I could serve Him. Shortly after I joined the Devi Mandir Group, I saw the notice about Prayer Club and I truly resonated with it It is a link by which I am a part of this Spiritual Community. It is a way in which I can serve and help the Universe. It is the answer to my Prayer from Lord Shiva. I have seen demonstrations of answered prayer from people whose name has been on the list...so I know "it works" :-) The Maha Mrityunjaya is an extremely powerful mantra. As we repeat it as part of our sankalpa, we also get the benefits of this mantra. I love Shree Maa's recent words of Blessings pertaining to living a life of Prayer and Prayer Club Her words and Her Blessings "sanctified" my life and what I was doing in this beautiful service. I think this work teaches us true compassion and giving and shows that if we can truly abide in unconditional love and help others that it is us who receive the Blessings. I have only been a part of this Group and a part of Prayer Club for a short time but I can truly say that my life has changed for the better. Sorry for the length of the post :-0 Love, Kanti Devi
Guest guest
Thanks so much for your loving words my friend :-) I remember one time the Prayer Club posted a message saying that they can't talk enough about the sankalpa and what takes place... I guess its catching :-) Sometimes its so very hard to acquire compassion in this world. It seems that the Prayer Club and the power of the Maha Mrityunjaya along with Shree Maa and Swamiji's blessings grants us the Grace of acquiring compassion directly in serving others without intellectual contrivance Love, Kanti Devi n a message dated 3/1/2005 5:55:22 PM Central Standard Time, _prayer_club writes: JAI MAA! Thanks so very much for this amazing post. (And it's not too long...it's a treasure! Can't have too much of a treasure.) I love this part: I think this work teaches us true compassion and giving and shows that if we can truly abide in unconditional love and help others that it is us who receive the Blessings. Wow! Guest guest
Dear Michaelji: There is a very special, wonderful and powerful energy connected to Prayer Club. As mentioned in an earlier post, I have seen prayers answered for others. There have been cases in which a seeming negative condition has been a catalyst for transformation .. We will all join you in prayer that this is the case for your friend. I have long been aware of the power of prayer, especially in praying together. I am excited to be able to participate. My prayers are focused on a very dear friend who is under attack by others who seek to manipulate her. I pray that she gain clarity, and that she recieve divine guidance. Thank you all for your prayers. I will be with you on saturday.Michael
