Guest guest
Dear Nanda, There have been many emails about Shivratri Sankalpa and the shatabisha Nakshatra paddhoti. I am still a little confused about the Shivratri sankalpa. What texts are we reciting and when?? I am terribly sorry but would you please go over this again. Thanks a ton, Ruchi Nanda [chandimaakijai] Friday, March 04, 2005 12:26 PM P.I.A Dear All, I asked Swamiji once , what determined a successful and happy relationship. How do we make our relationships divine ? Swamiji said that were are THREE indispensable attributes 1) Pure Love 2) Inspiration 3) Appreciation Let us add generous doses of these qualities and watch our relationships bloom. Guest guest
Dear Ruchi and anyone else in the same boat, Sorry for the confusion. There are TWO sankalpas this Shivaratri and you can do one or both of these sankalpas. For those that are new to Shiva Puja and Shivaratri, you are welcome to do the "basic" sankalpa which is addressed in post /message/9756 For those that are already familiar with puja practices , you are welcome to do the basic sankalpa and the Satabhisha Nakshatra Paddhoti given in post /message/9758 Hope this helps resolve your confusion. Please let me know of any additional questions Jai Maa Nanda , "Khanna, Ruchi" <Ruchi.Khanna@d...> wrote: > > Dear Nanda, > > There have been many emails about Shivratri Sankalpa and the shatabisha > Nakshatra paddhoti. Guest guest
I will do the first sankalpa and I'll attempt what I can of the second. I have a huge pile of Devi Mandir publications and I can do some of the stuff. Over the last half decade with very little access to events at the mandir, there are many details of puja that I lack exposure to. I will do what is within my current capabilities starting a 5:32 pm pst on Tuesday. , "Nanda" <chandimaakijai> wrote: > > Dear Ruchi and anyone else in the same boat, > > Sorry for the confusion. > > There are TWO sankalpas this Shivaratri and you can do one or both > of these sankalpas. > > For those that are new to Shiva Puja and Shivaratri, you are welcome > to do the "basic" sankalpa which is addressed in post > /message/9756 > > For those that are already familiar with puja practices , you are > welcome to do the basic sankalpa and the Satabhisha Nakshatra > Paddhoti given in post > /message/9758 > > Hope this helps resolve your confusion. Guest guest
Thanks Nanda. This clarifies things for me. I would be participating in the shatabisha Nakshatra paddhoti and for Shivratri I would do as much as I can. Thanks, Ruchi Nanda [chandimaakijai] Friday, March 04, 2005 1:19 PM Re: Shivratri Sankalpa and the shatabisha Nakshatra paddhoti Dear Ruchi and anyone else in the same boat, Sorry for the confusion.
