Guest guest
Dear Friends, Om Namah Shivayah! Some names for our beloved Maa: She who is the Mother of Sounds (Shabda Maata) She who from whom the sapta swaras flow delightfully She who is delightfully cute She who is delighted when we perform our sadhana She who gracefiully wears humility as an ornament She who enters our heart silently She who is watching over us with deep love She in whom Shiva and Shakthi are indistinguishable She who is playful She who smiles and dances with the peacocks with much love, Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! srini ps: I recently visited a temple in Thiruchengode (20 km from Erode, South India). The temple is dedicated to Lord ArdhaNaariswara (half- siva, half shakti). In the side of the temple, carved in stone were seven Goddesses (representing the seven swaras). Underneath was inscribed the name: Sabda Mata, Mother of sounds. The temple was very quiet, being in a remote location and I just sat down near the images and closed my eyes for a few minutes. I thought "what a nice name for Maa - Sabda Mata"
