Dear Sherri ~ your question is a very good one. Do I, as an artist and

musician, quit doing my creative work because they may be noticed,

purchased, or bring me some attention. I do not think this is what

God(dess) intends. God(dess) is the very fount of creativity, which

is also present in the world of achievement. My personal belief is to

do the work in the world, remembering who is the real Doer and also

not to be attached to outcomes, whether good or bad. For some of us,

part of our sadhana may be playing our role in the world of names and

forms. If we can do this with attention to the Divine, then we become

part of the Divine lila, playing our parts with joy and selflessness.
