Namaste Nanda,

Many thanks for all the wonderful information from

today and earlier. So far, I performed the Shiva

Puja twice. I've had a sore throat lately;

therefore, I've been listening to the Shiva Puja and

the Durga Puja cds while reading the books. Tonight

I read the English translations, which I only skimmed

before.

I have two questions about the Puja:

Page 10. May I draw the yantra on a plate on the

floor?

Page 14. What kind of water pot may I use? large,

medium, small? I used a bowl earlier.

Here's one more question:

If I have a sore throat; however, I have most or all

of the puja ingredients, may I perform a puja with the

ingredients while listening to the CD? This is

probably a question that wasn't asked 100 years ago!

(hee hee!)

Thanks!

Jai Shiva, Jai Maa, Jai Swamiji

Dawn

Hi Nanda,

This is a wonderful and purposeful series of posts.

As part of Knowledge Management (yeah! we can use the business term

here too), will you be compiling this and putting it in the Files or

Links section?

sets the mood - to withdraw our senses so that we focus more and

more on our beloved deity.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for this post. I agree that the Shiva Puja Beginner is great!

And it certainly gives one the opportunity to greet God in a whole new

way and to form a relationship with HIm. Puja is a privilege. To sit

in the presence of God. To learn to learn. To open one's heart to

Divine Love.
