Guest guest
Dear Grace, Thanks for the question. Shree Maa and Swamij both perfom their puja sitting down in one asan. That is part of the sankalpa or vow that we take when we sit down to chant, meditate, or do puja. We want to try to keep sitting in one asan without moving our legs. Swamiji defines sadhu as one who is efficient. Part of being efficient means that when we sit down to do our puja we should have all of the offerings within easy reach so we don't have to break our asan. So the first part of performing puja is preparation. We have to prepare the puja in such a way that we don't have to get up from our asan.
