So every afternoon, after he had finished his chanting, Swamiji walked to the edge of the pond, seated himself in the full lotus posture and floated out onto the water. Swamiji stayed in the lotus posture on top of the water for a few hours at a time. People stood on the shore and looked at him in astonishment, but he never paid them any attention. He closed his eyes.
